We have just shut down the servers in Europe. For us remaining developers at Spellborn it is the closing act in a play that we thoroughly enjoyed performing for you. As with most ends, there is a shining new beginning as the story of Spellborn is far from being told in its entirety. In many ways, it is only just The Chronicles of Spellborn Gold beginning. The servers at Acclaim are open. Development is ongoing in Korea, by a talented group of people who have spent years working with our team in the Netherlands.

With Spellborn going F2P, many more people will get a chance to play the magic that kept you. Our most loyal of fans, on these severs. We have had the best possible The Chronicles of Spellborn Gold community we could have wished for. Over these five long years of development you stuck with us and kept us going with your unending enthusiasm. Believe it or not, we did get a chance to make the game(TCOS Gold) we wanted to make. In fact, Spellborn is the game we always wanted to play ourselves and it is at the best possible starting point it could be for the future.

Our child has grown up The Chronicles of Spellborn Gold and will go have to live a life of its own, but rest assured that we will be watching and where possible, give advice and guidance.
